Get the brows you’ve always wanted with Plume Lash and Brow Enhancing Serum

Inspired by the Cara Delevingne and the big-brows-are-beautiful-trend, I decided to grow out my brows two years ago. Why am I telling you this? Because after all this time, there are still parts of my brows that are “bald”, which means I have to do my brows, even if I’m not wearing any makeup. But all that changed recently with the Plume Brow and Lash serum.
plume lash brow enhancing serum review, how to grow your eyebrows back, eyebrow products, organicAs some of you 90s kids, who had eyebrows like Posh Spice may know, growing your brows back can be a long and arduous process. First, you must commit and throw away your tweezers or delete the number of the lady who does your brow threading/waxing. Next, you must clear your calendar so no one sees you in the early days when hair is growing in random spots and brow products are completely useless. If you make it to week 4, (congratulations!) you can now go into the world, but only after you’ve spent 15 minutes first using tint, pomade or gel. Two years on, some parts of my brows – specifically the first part of my right brow (as you can see below) – stubbornly refuse to grow back. This meant I was still spending time I could use sleeping, doing my brows.

Then I tried the Plume Brow and Lash Serum, and it really helped boost brow hair growth. Now I just need a few light strokes of a brow pencil and I’m out the door. The two main ingredients in this are organic aloe vera juice and organic castor seed oil and I know castor oil works because I used to use it to condition my lashes and brows when I was younger. But this serum is even better! Along with the above ingredients it also has vitamin E, glycerine and sweet almond oil (also great for hair) among other ingredients. It is completely free from any nasties making it absolutely safe for the eyes.

I used the serum every night or so applying it to the areas where the hair on my brows refused to grow back. After about 15-20 days (this may differ from person to person), I noticed the hair started coming back – slowly, and really fine at first, but growing thicker like the rest of my brow with continued use.

It’s best to use it right after your eye cream and before the rest of your skincare routine so it isn’t layered over other products that might diminish its effect. Since I was more concerned about growing my brows back, I only occasionally used it on my lashes, but when I did, I found that they were fuller and didn’t fall as much when removing stubborn mascara. At S$139 a pop it is pricey, but the tube has lasted me three months and I’m still using it.

While I can’t say the hair has completely grown back – to be fair it’s been over 10 years of follicle damage (read tweezing) here – but the results are promising, as you can see in the above image. And now when someone asks me what they can do to get brows (or lashes) like mine, I finally have an answer – use the Plume Lash and Brow Enhancing Serum!

The Plume Lash and Brow Enhancing Serum is available at An Uplifted Day.

This product was sent to me for review, it works – that’s why I’m sharing it with you.

  1. I definitely have to try this. My eyebrows are pretty thin to nonexistent at the tips. And how did it work for your eyelashes?
I loved this entry. I’ve been following your blog for quite some time, and I’m definitely hooked. Looking forward to your future content.

    1. So glad you like the post! The very few times I used it on my lashes, I did find them looking thicker. Also, it seemed they were less likely to drop when removing stubborn mascara. I felt my brows needed more help, so decided to use it more for my brows than my eyelashes.

  2. OMG i use tweezers a lot as getting my brows threaded is a task..The lady who does my brows nicely lives very far off and I am so lazy. Thanks for sharing and I will avoid tweezing my brows. I have some sparse hair on one of my brows and I will try to get my hands on this serum.

    1. I agree, the serum is expensive, but I’ve been using it for almost three months, so that reduces the cost per use. Will probably try Revitalash after this, if I still need too, thanks for the recommendation!

  4. I loved reading the blog post and as you mentioned those 90s kids 🙂 I have noticed my brows used to grow faster in my 20s and this serum sounds amazing for my 30s slow growth and sparse areas in the brows, I will have to give this a try.
